Douglas R. Allen concentrates his practice in construction law, professional liability and commercial litigation.  Mr. Allen is also experienced in insurance coverage, automobile casualty, products liability and premises liability matters.  He is skilled in handling complex litigation matters from initial investigation through final disposition. 

Mr. Allen’s practice philosophy incorporates upfront risk analysis, strategic client advisement, and aggressive implementation of the calculated litigation plan tailored to achieve the clients’ objectives and goals. 

Education
Mr. Allen earned his B.A. degree in Political Science from Valparaiso University in 1999.  He continued his studies at the Valparaiso University School of Law, earning his J.D. degree in 2002.

Mr. Allen is authorized to practice law in Illinois and in the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Northern District of Illinois.
