Garrett P. Kern concentrates his practice in the areas of construction, commercial litigation, and professional liability. He has extensive experience in handling complex litigation, including initial investigations, case analysis, strategic client advisement, evidence inspection and testing, fact and expert discovery, retention of experts, motion practice, and trial. |
Education
Mr. Kern
earned his B.A. degree in government and international relations from the
University of Notre Dame in 1997 and his J.D. degree from Loyola University
of Chicago School of Law in 2001. While in law school, Mr. Kern competed
in the American Bar Association Negotiation Competition and was a Curt N.
Rodin Fellow in personal injury law. In his final year he served as president
of Loyola’s Student Bar Association and liaison to the American Bar
Association.

Mr. Kern is authorized to practice law in
Illinois and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
