A partner in the firm, Michael H. McColl concentrates his practice in the area of medical and healthcare malpractice and general casualty work. He also handles cases in the specialties of construction/ design, products liability and insurance property and liability coverage. In addition, he has considerable experience in subrogation. Over the course of his career, Mr. McColl has served as lead trial counsel in cases in which he secured very favorable outcomes on behalf of his medical and healthcare clients and has been second chair at numerous other trials that ended in not-guilty verdicts. |
Education
Mr. McColl earned his B.A. degree in
history with a minor in philosophy from Denison University in three years
in 1991 and his J.D. degree from Northwestern University Law School in
1994.
Bar Admissions
Mr. McColl is authorized to practice law
in Illinois and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
He has also represented clients in matters pending in state and federal
courts throughout the country.

Mr. McColl is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
Honors
Mr. McColl has earned the 2008 Rising Stars designation, as awarded by Law & Politics for outstanding young lawyers. This honor is given to only 2.5% of the total attorneys in each state, based on nomination and evaluation of professional achievements.
