An associate with Foran Glennon Palandech & Ponzi, Maura Yusof concentrates her practice on large loss subrogation, commercial litigation, construction, casualty, and insurance litigation. She also has experience in the area of mass toxic tort litigation including asbestos defense. Ms. Yusof was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, and speaks fluent Dari, a dialect of Persian. |
Education
Ms. Yusof earned her B.S.L.A. degree
in Spanish and government with a concentration in international relations
and a minor in French from Georgetown University in 1998. She earned
her J.D. degree from Washington University School of Law in 2002, where
she was an “Articles and Notes” editor for the Washington
University Journal of Law and Policy, a teaching assistant for first
year legal research and writing classes, president of the International
Law Society, and a board member of the Environmental Moot Court.

Ms. Yusof is authorized to practice law in Illinois and Missouri and in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois and the Eastern District of Wisconsin. She has also represented clients in matters pending in state court in Arizona, California, Florida, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, and New York., and internationally in Japan and Taiwan.
